To a certain extent, i think he has a point though. A while back i posted a joke which some decided was poor taste, so i removed it, but the same people guffawed and laughed like drains at jade goody jokes, including one particular person who is a mod. Now i know the site rules, and i know there is a report button, but situations like this do beg the question, Do all mods have the same standards?

Having said that of course, it's never going to be easy to police a site like this, and for myself i think the mods do a thankless task very well

moderation has never been even on issues such as this. i agree it must be a tough gig, but i think given ayuahasca's previous history [seems like a decent enough, good natured and often funny poster imo] then feel a warning/post delete sits better than a ban.

How do you know they dont already recieve a fruit based delicacy from chez slopes each day?? It isnt a case of being a teachers pet, but the mods get copious amounts of abuse for shutting down threads and being heavy handed with bans etc, but nobody stops to think how they would like it, if they were the mod, and being called a cock.
