Odd threads from Google search

I'm not sure if this is something that I'm causing from my end or not but sometimes if I search pistonheads through Google the thread loads up with some posts missing?

Eg: I searched this:

Why does this happen? Or is it something obvious and am I just being stupid

It's not loaded the page numbers for some reason, which is a bit of an issue when you are one page 3 already.

It's not doing it here though, which makes it a little tricky to diagnose.

Does it work if you go into that thread the normal way?

It doesn't seem to do it if I go into them, say, through someone's profile and their contributions. It only seems to happen from the Google search for some reason. It's not a problem for recent threads but if I'm searching for something from a while ago it could take some time to trawl through someone's profile to find it with all the posts.

Edited to add, it does do this with older threads, there was one I was looking at this morning from a couple of years ago that was missing bits. It doesn't appear to do it with every thread from the google search though.

This happens to me as well sometimes. It happens when you have your page length set high. I have mine set to 80 posts per page so I miss the first 40 posts because of the i=40 bit in the URL, I guess it starts from the 40th post..?

Don't know if this helps but I've just tried that search again but with 'smoked indicators' instead of 'indicators smoked' and it brought up the thread in it's entirety?

That makes a lot of sense, it's starting you off at the 40th post as it's a link to page 3, but you aren't seeing the page numbering as the entire thing would fit onto one of your big pages.

I'll add it to the bugs list, but in the mean time removing the i= number from the URL should kick it back to the right place when this happens.
