A new pop up advert that eats away at bandwidth and battery.

It only happens if you tap the ad at the top, perhaps OP did it by mistake?

Quite possibly, I also commented in the thread that Garlick attended to at the weekend.

Using my iPod is an issue with this advert!

I must have touched/clicked the O2 above as the advert appears & a donkey walks across the screen!

It's really difficult getting rid using an iPod, as you scroll/slide the advert down to click the 'X' As soon as you release the 'X' part of the advert shoots back to the top of the screen...making the X disappear!

You need Ninja hand speed to do it! I ended up closing the browser & logging back in - remembering not to go near the advert!

Hopefully that explains ok?
