Hi. I had a topic removed, as it was unauthorised advertising. Its a rolling road day raising money for Help for Heroes, is that a bad thing?

The same organisation did a track day for help for heroes las year and that was allowed on the forum.

Clearly I dont wish to break the rules, maybe it wasn't clear that it is a charity event?

FYI, the PH posting rules state that you agree not to "16. Promote charity events or recruit for charitable donations."

Just seen you have beaten me to it, which is fine.

I am not happy about receiving emails accusing me of spamming, I posted twice only. I posted in good faith supporting a charity and many charitable events have been posted on PH.

There are many many posts advising of open days at various dealers/garages etc and they don't get moved. You appear to have an inconsistent approach, which led me to believe that my posts were ok .
