Thinking of moving to Indy?
Discussion
My LP640 is 11 years old.
Always been serviced by main dealer - usually Birmingham. Used London twice, but both terrible experiences and would never use again.
Thinking about giving Pangbourne a try or moving to an Indy. I’ve heard very good things about SB race Engineering.
Anyone got any experience of either of the above?
I’m probably going to keep the car forever so is it really worth paying over double to use a main dealer? Also, in the past, I think Indy’s just do a better job.
Does it really make an difference to residuals?

I use Pangbourne for all four scissor door cars.
Dave is excellent.
(And I don’t care about residuals, as I keep my cars.)
Thanks. Good to hear. Dave is excellent.

They wanted to charge me something silly for something very small.
I asked them if they really wanted to do that?
They said yes.
I paid. And that was the last time I went there.
They still ring and write………..
I have settled into alternating. Pangbourne for main, Indy for interim.
This works really, really well. David Jennings at Pangbourne is excellent - but being a dealer, some solutions are naturally a lot more expensive. For the Indy service I use Ed Blasi at AV Engineering (ex-Lamborghini, ex-Ferrari, ex-everything) as I like and trust him, or Mark Hosken at Backdraft Motorsport (very reasonable and very knowledgeable bloke). There are others, Mike Pullen, Roberto Grimaldi etc.
This means you get the best of both worlds with a more manageable cost profile.
