Hi everyone New member here -

I've traded a new Range Rover Sport ( which I didn't like at all! ) and a Vantage V8 to get a Volcano Orange coupe and I must say its bloody amazing. Had it for 2 months and dont know how ,but done 1100 miles.

So easy to drive and dare I say it , comfortable -

I'm still getting used to people taking pics of it and the attention it attracts.

Welcome to the fold Mal. We need a few more members to have a more active forum here.
Done more than 2,500 miles since the end of Spetember in mine. As you say amazing. And fun to see people faces when opening the door with finger tips wink
We will be pleased to see pics.

Welcome to McLaren ownership and I hope you are still enjoying the car.

VO IMO is a great colour choice and really suits the car. It was my first choice but I couldn't find one in the right spec and price.

Hi Giggsy,Ballistic and D1ckie , It was the colour that attracted me in the first place - never went to buy it just look . took it for a test drive and was shocked by it ( in a good way !) Bought it there and then.

Its got the recent software/power updates and I might get the Iris 2 fitted soon

Hopefully get to a few meets next year.

Hi Mal
If going for the IRIS upgrade, I believe the price will be going up from £3k to £7k after the new year so it will make sense to try to arrange as soon as possible...

Hey Mal

I got the Iris 2 fitted a few months back and it was below £3K from memory, much better than the original system but not sure if its worth the money

It does make me laugh. Most people, who are interested in cars, seem to hold a negative view of the 12C, that is until they have a go in one!
I've had two folk approach me, saying how they had driven one and were absolutely shocked by the performance and comfort of the car. If you look at what
the company was following up on, it was always going to be difficult! Truth is, IMHO they did a fantastic job, sadly undermined by some idiotic media remarks.
