Anyone else noticed this on your MP4 12C

Yesterday I was out having a play and had the car in sport mode and manual. It was a spirited drive shall we say and I was driving through some really nice bends. I started to get the smell of petrol in the cabin. Really most odd and so I thought I would go back to standard mode IE auto and the smell disappeared. Never had that before but then again I think yesterday was the hardest I have ever driven it if you get my drift. Any ideas Chaps.

Sorry, I drive in sport mode more often than not, and I have never had this in mine.
As long as it does not smell burning, you will be fine

It really should not have any petrol type smell to be honest. After various trackdays at Spa i never got that nor anyone else I know, would get that checked asap tbh.

The "ISG" is linked to the intake, feeds into the cabin and is also "mode" dependent. Might be worth turning the ISG off in all "P" modes and try to get the smell again.

Never had this in 12C, in any mode, with any amount of hard driving. Did have it in an a 430, garage repeatedly couldn't locate the issue and I began to feel it was a 'feature' until it began to get worse. It is never a 'feature'. You need it checked ASAP.
