Looks like im going to own a 650s spider as couldnt wait till spider 570 came along as no patience and the deal being offered on some late 650s is very good at the moment.
Really am very excited and hope that i can close a deal this week on a choice of 2 cars on offer from dealer, will keep you all posted.Rambo this is your fault for your constant flogging of the 650s.
Being offered 2 cars one in storm grey and the other in ice blue, both have very low miles but the ice blue has so so much carbon which is big draw, what do you guys think is the most attractive colour etc and extras i should be looking for on either car.
Help would be appreciated thx simon

Nothing to do with me, I think they are terrible cars, just awful. No one else should ever buy one again I want them all for myself.
Ice blue one sounds nice and the carbon will look stunning as a contrast. Mine has a lot of carbon and whilst expensive as an option it is a nice finishing touch and does distinguish it from lower spec cars. If you are getting a good deal its probably not as painful and always better for resale. This one I'm guessing

Storm grey looks mean and carbon probably less essential as it shows less but I think it needs some colour contrast in the brake calipers and seats to look wow. There was a storm grey one with red calipers and red seats that looked impressive. This one but personally I would change the wheels to silver/diamond cut to lift it up as I don't like black/stealth wheels personally

options req'd ;
Lifter
sports exhaust
carbon interior
tech and sec packs
Good luck and enjoy whichever car you choose.
I promise you won't regret it and only thank me the more you drive and appreciate how good they are

Thx guys,Rambo your bang on with the ice car that is the one,the storm is an unregistered car with orange calipers and orange contrast stitching on black alcantara seats but it does have the forge lightweight wheels in grey colour which to be honest im not that keen on either.
Im going up there to see both cars and decide which one after a bit more work with salesman on the cars, but to be honest its just going to be a case of which car says wow to me.First impressions is the 650s is just a huge step up from the 570 range a true supercar.
The ice blue car was 260k only 6 monthes ago so im hoping alot of the depreciation has allready gone out of that car as im taking a bit of a kicking on my p/ex.
will let you all know soon cheers simon

Ice Blue one is high spec, all the essentials plus lovely carbon everywhere. It will look very special for sure.
Advert pics are a bit over exposed so it doesn't do the colour justice IMHO
Its got to be a rare colour as well as I've never seen one advertised before.
If you are not blown away by it I would be surprised. As regards price its an absolute steal at £65k off list. Certainly protected yourself from a huge chunk of depreciation and I reckon over say 3 years that will be a cheap ( £10k pa ) supercar to have run
The storm grey also has something about it and the orange details maybe enough to liven it up but if you are not keen on the wheels I'm sure they could swap them over or paint them etc.. as part of the deal
I'm guessing you are coming from a Ferrari just like I did but believe me you will be amazed by the McLaren and the more you drive it the better it gets ( its a real grower ). If you don't buy it I may treat myself to a 2nd one for xmas I love them so much
Good luck and hopefully update us with some good news and pics

Congratulations, good decision and one you won't regret.
Sorry to hear about your friends 488 but can't say I'm entirely surprised. He must be gutted and hopefully its only minor things and you can do a comparison for us in the future.
Congratulations, looks amazing!

On the paint query lots of people PPF but I have driven mine 6,000 miles this since Feb and not a scratch so must be quite tough.

Lovely looking car there f430hunter! Congrats and enjoy.
Ice Silver is pearlescent and does contrast well with the c/f.
I found with my car that on a dull day the paintwork looks quite flat but when the sun comes out the colour really pops with the added benefit of a blue hue. Ferrari do a similar colour but I can't remember what they call it.
Quite a few owners remove the front plate all together and seem to get away with it.
