Thinking of ordering a 570s
Discussion
So I'm going to the local tomorrow to drive the 570s.
I've not made my mind up over 540c 570s and 570gt, I had a 12c for 4 weeks, and whilst very fast, I didn't find it very enguaging at road speed especially compared to my gt3 so I'm hoping the 570s will have what the 12c is missing.
Anything I need to look at, and is there any chance of a discount if ordering new.

Got a P14 on order with them, Matt seems a very nice chap (salesman, ex Mazda) & Jon called me after I deposited just to congratulate me & introduce himself.I've not made my mind up over 540c 570s and 570gt, I had a 12c for 4 weeks, and whilst very fast, I didn't find it very enguaging at road speed especially compared to my gt3 so I'm hoping the 570s will have what the 12c is missing.

So slightly disappointed.
Booked an appointment, drove the 100mile round trip, then nobody was there, no secretary, no salesman, nobody. So I sat down and waited in the mclaren bit, a guy came in with another customer, I can only assume this was the guy I spoke to this morning, walked straight past me, no acknowledgement what so ever. I was there an hour, and apart from Tom from RR who said hello just before I left.
I won't be going back there at all. I'll book a test drive at ascot next week which is an equal distance from my house.

TBH this is my experience at so many places recently. When I was looking to buy a Ferrari last year you would book an appointment for say 11am, speak to the guy by phone and email before hand then turn up (after 2 hour drive) to be told "he is with a customer" or "just had to nip out".
The only dealer that has been 100% with me over many sales has been Porsche Cambridge. Always spot on, no waiting about, cars always ready.
The worst was a dealer who I booked to view a car (Ferrari), drove about 1.5 hours. Arrived spot on time just as sales guy was getting in a car to go with another customer for a test drive. He was gone half and hour. I wandered round, checked my phone, wandered round some more. Sales guy turns back up, sold the car so now has paperwork to do etc. More waiting.. oh sorry its taken so long shakes hands etc... now been there a good hour. Great come to look at that car we spoke about. Oh yeah we don't have that car here today, but you can look at these other cars. WTF. Bye.

It's difficult but I wonder how many people say they are coming to view cars and don't turn up.............I suppose if there is a physical person there in front of them, they have to deal with that person rather than risk losing them over someone who may not turn up........
The person who has made the appointment has to take precedence I would think. There is normally more than one salesperson anyway but if not he/she should tell the walk in customer that he/she has an appointment and wait at least 15 mins over the appointment time to see if they show up.
