That's just the entry ticket, to join the real club you need to sign up here mclarenowners.org.uk

Congratulations, you'll love it, particularly as you don't need to use the sh*te dealership down south...

I need to scratch the McLaren itch, just sold my V10 R8 so on the hunt.
Drove past McLaren last week & was going to pop in but seen a family in the showroom so headed on my journey.
Congratulations, looks superb

Congrats, looks great. Is that the standard 540C wheels? They actually look really good.

OP, was your car from stock or new order/specced by you? Just wondering what lead times are currently?

Hi Mickv - it was a stock car, I think it was going to be the demo, I initially went up for the existing demo but fell in love with the white, cannot stress enough what a great service I got.

Lovely car. Looks cool with the doors up. Treat it well, don't rag it with cold oil, etc. Know someone who runs a car-storage company and it is usually the Maccas (and Astons) that are in and out of the sickbay.

Congrats.
I must admit I'm considering a 570S coupe as a winter run around now to keep the 650s spider for special summer occasions.
Just need to do some man maths on having 2 McLarens. But looking longer term and at the bigger picture of future "specials"

As the brand grows I'm sure it'll have to change but I don't see purchasing sports or even super series cars as being required for the next generation of McSpecials.
LT Spiders were on large readily available for 1st time adopters of the marque and I even know of a MSO HS that went to an owner whose only previous supercar was a 12C purchased used....
Keeping in touch and mind with your dealer should be more than enough, even with more established brands such as Ferrari the dealer has the swing who gets what, they just have a larger database to juggle.

The exception are the "Halo" cars, or ultimate series such as the P1 which will naturally be offered first to the previous/current owners who took the chance on such an unknown product 2 years ago, of course now that looks like a no brainer but wasn't such an easy sell at launch.
If anyone is daft enough to refuse (or unfortunate enough not to be able to take) this offer the used buyers of this series will take next preference.
