Sports seats/buckets

Good evening,

I will be collecting my new 12c in a couple of days. I'm looking forward to it. I was considering changing the electric seats for McLaren leather bucket seats. Does anyone know how much they cost? Are they easy to order?

About £8k when I thought about it and you lose all the electric, heated and memory functions so not such a good idea was my conclusion unless you can find someone who has them and wants to swap because they find them too uncomfortable.

I would try MSO or someone friendly from the service department to try and find you a pair of seats than ordering a new set from the factory.

The Mclaren bucket seats are either a slightly modified Recaro Pole Position or Sabelt Carbon FIA seat. I never was able to get a straight answer and used to be sure they were recaros but am not certain now. Before the 650, MSO used to offer a track pack for the 12c that included Recaros and a harness bar so those seats will fit.
