Why is this much cheaper than other 650s?
Discussion
Is there a reason why this 650S is much cheaper than similar mileage examples?

Looks a bit of a bargain.

That's incredibly cheap.
McMainDealer so there'll be nothing wrong with it. I can only assume its time of year and motivated seller (maybe SoR for a 720 buyer who wants/needs it sold asap?)
Looks like good spec and has bucket seats which is a rare option.
Anyone want my high spec 30k mile 12C Spider and i'd be tempted to buy it myself...?

I'm always puzzled by this. Would you rather the car be more expensive if you were buying it....?https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...

Good question! No, but why would a dealer, who is in the business of making money selling cars, be leaving some money on the table by offering a car at 15k less than other dealers?I figured there is a reason for this, and merely wanted to ask those who might have better knowledge than I do as to what those reasons might be.
Lamborambo may have hit the nail on the head with the fact that it’s an ex-press car, and therefore might have lead quite a hard life.
Caveat emptor and all that....

Sometimes the simplest explanation might be the best one surely? The owner needs to sell the car asap if on sor or the Mcdealer has held on to the car long enough and wants to get it clear. Somewhat simpler than coming up with possibly bogus explanations about ex press cars just to explain the lower price (and tbh weren't most press car blue or orange anyway given they were the new 650 launch colours).I figured there is a reason for this, and merely wanted to ask those who might have better knowledge than I do as to what those reasons might be.

Indeed......people need to think about the agenda of posters saying it's an ex-press car, without any foundation..............and most press cars I've seen have a lot higher mileage than 7k in nearly four years..............How about - it is a very expensive (relatively speaking) car in winter in a country where the economy is going t!ts up and somebody actually wants to sell as opposed to having it sit around for 12 months .... non limited car of a manufacturer that does not warranty cars for 10 years and has rather high repair costs if something should go wrong. Ah and not the latest model anylonger either of a manufacturer that substantially improves cars on every iteration while not having the (warranted or not so much) following of GT Porsches or Ferrari

Ex Press car and its a marmite colour
is it really ?had me worried for a moment.
Ive got a trade buyer on mine (at about the same price that one is retailing at)
he told me he sol a similar car to mine, bit higher miles, half a plate older for close to mid £160k (only last month)
so if it is a press car that would explain the diff in value
There's a simple explanation.
It was mine until I sold it to rybrook a couple of weeks ago, because I've bought a Speciale and I need the garage space.
It's been mine for 3 and a bit years and was rybrook's demo before that - I bought it with 500 miles on as I recall. It wasn't a press car I'm afraid.
The reality is that's where the market is at. You might find a buyer at a higher price, but I wanted to sell it and so do rybrook, so it's priced realistically - there are a load on the market which have sat there for ages at higher prices, so it's just not where it's at.
I paid under 200 for it 3 years ago when it was practically new so I don't think it'd that bad a deal really.
It's a mega car for the money, I just think the fezza is more fun.
