Picked up a 540c a few days before Christmas. Coming from a V12 Vantage as it looks like others have done.
First thoughts, amazing car drivable quickly in all weathers very much unlike AM.
I love it...I don't even miss the noise, it has a sports exhaust which is a lot quieter than the AM of course but it has its own character.
Never had a McLaren. Great Christmas present!

Congrats on the new car seems we have a few making this move from V12V to 540/570/650...I currently have a V12VS and I defo see myself in a McLaren at some point in the not so distant future! Interested to hear further impressions and comparison between the cars once you've had it a bit longer, enjoy!

I miss the sound around town (but not at full chat) and rev matching myself on downshifts. But indeed eminently driveable and actually quite a blast in the wet, getting the power down and with so much larger throttle travel / torque range.

OP...you have dirt on your car! You must have driven it...in the rain....with dirt on the road! Are you out of your mind? Quickly wash it before it falls apart and put it into your garage until about June, when you might be able to drive it for a couple of weeks before putting it away again. On a serious note, lovely car, congrats and hope to read more of your experiences with it in due course.
