Hi All, I need to arrange insurance for when I pick up the car on Wednesday. I am currently with Hastings for the other cars, but given the value of the 720 and relative speciality, are there any recommendations?

Thanks

Try NFU, lots of people have good experiences.

Never you mind

Chubb or Hiscox are probably the best. Got mine through AIB.

Ditto.

NFU for me, and they were both competitive and very easy to deal with.

I was with Chubb but it became stupidly expensive

Now with NFU and as others have said they are very competitive on price with great service.

Depends if you want to track it?

But if you do then Manning UK include track days with their road policies

They won't even quote because I had a recent claim (vandalism) and a CU80 - 3mph on North circular with a self driving Porsche Panamera

They also won't look unless I have 5,000 miles in a similar vehicle.

Did do 30,000 in R8 v8/v10
120,000 in a Tesla
20,000 in my current Porsche Panamera hybrid

Guess nothing is that close to a McLaren

Any other companies that will quote for the less than perfect record?

Bit of an update on this - just tried to get a quote via NFU for a 12C, they no longer cover vehicles with values over £75k.

I don't think that's the case, my renewal due for next week has just come through from them. Perhaps it's a local office thing?

They have either fed you a pack of fibs or you have misunderstood them..

Are you better off trying a broker like A-Plan Private Clients?

Forget NFU, they have hiked up premiums this year. Shop around.

I'm about to pay £510 (per year) with Admiral for my 720S. Very impressed at the quote.

P.S. lots of good insurance info in the Owners Club.

Thank god for that, been with them for years and they're the best on price and service IMO
