18 McLarens in Spain, combined 20k miles in last few days, problems so far: 2 punctures, 1 oil filler cap not properly screwed in.

Everyone having a great time. It’s not always bad news!

Great news each car didn’t explode after 1,000 miles ... seriously? What a statement

Congrats on the trip though, sounds like fun.

Glad your faith in McLarens reliability makes you think saying something like this is silly. If you read half the PH threads you’d think McLarens fall apart out the factory door. True there are more than enough problems and the record is there. Plenty people either don’t buy, or fully use, cars they feel are unreliable.

So consider this just for those people to do a tiny bit not to put them off fantastic cars.

Only other problems so far, smashed rear screen from stone, couple of chipped windscreens and hole in undertray from hitting a bit rock.

Sounds like you had an epic trip!

I have to say, not had any bother with my 650spider and i use it for every possible journey and it lives outside due to the garages having other stuff in them.

Absolute belter of a car.

It should be impossible for a supercar to be so user friendly, easy to drive and, with the electric heated Alcantara seats, one of the most comfortable and simple cockpits of any car i have driven for any distance.
