570s minus nose lift??

Hi All I am looking at getting into my first 570 McLaren and just wanted to ask is buying one without a nose lift (security pack) a bad idea?

My 570 has nose lift - I would not buy one without it fitted - caught a couple of speed humps with it activated

I absolutely would not buy one without nose lift. It’s been a life saver on so many occasions. Even shallow dips and transitions like leaving a petrol station - I have been lazy a few times and not raised the nose and caught the underside - had to stop and raise the nose before proceeding

Nose lift is essential. I don’t know why it isn’t a standard fit.

i am assuming the 570s is much lower than the 12C ?

Also agree, nose lift is important. You may be fortunate enough to not use it on a daily basis but for re-sale it is key.

Agree, nose lift is unbelievably good on sportseries, a must for unexpected deep bumps in urban environment.

Two reasons.

Firstly it helps them declare a headline grabbing low DIN weight for a standard car, ie without extras like nose lift.

Secondly and more obviously ££££

Not really. But this has more to do with minimum entry angle. Not sure which is sharper.

Agree with everyone here it really is important on these. What spec/budget are you looking at for your first 570? You won’t be disappointed they are such good cars.

Spec not sure Orange or Green colour and as high spec as i can get for around 80 to 85k

Lift was not available on a 12C until 2013MY

Every 12C that I looked at without lift had scratches/gauges on the underside of the front bumper!
