Looking to buy a 570s or 650s in the spring.

Living in South Devon, I suppose my options for servicing and issues are McLaren Bristol / New Forest ?

Independent would be Thornley (8.5 hrs by public transport !) or....?

Any feedback on real world experiences of owning a McLaren at a distance from dealers ?

Not quite the same distance, but I'm about 3 hours from my closest dealer. No big deal really. I just make a day of it when I'm dropping it off for a service etc.

What sort of courtesy car do you get?

I live in Cornwall.

McL NF service my car. They collect and return in a covered truck - included in the price.

Car is a 570S.

Normally a 5 series type car. I've had a McLaren GT once.

Other option is most dealers offer a collect and drop off service also.

I’m in Exeter and bought from McBristol so will initially use them for servicing. I’ve got a McLaren owning neighbour who switched from Bristol to New Forest and, as Gunso states, they collect and return his car with a covered transporter.

A thumbs up from me for Mclaren New Forest (as a relative local to them), they collected a privately owned car foc i was interested in to carry out an mpi at quite a distance and now use them for servicing, all collected on a covered trailer within the costs, although i am sure its accounted for in their pricing structure but still a great service.

(former) 720S in Exeter here. McBristol always picked the car up and dropped it off for whatever, FOC. If I'd dropped the car off for warranty work or servicing, would usually get a 570S/GT as a loaner in that case.
