Any recommendations for companies that specialise in McLaren suspension work?

Thanks. Was wondering if there were more specialist suspension tuning firms?

Yea, they have a good rep, like string theory etc. most seem to specialise in pork. Suppose McLaren tuning is fairly young.

I’ve booked mine into V Eng for a geo set up in a couple of weeks, I’ll let you know how I get on.

They did the geo on my first 650. The difference was absolutely huge.

V Engineering are very good if you want to know your car is "correct" ie as it should be from new. They did the alignment on mine, were very careful and thorough to get it just right. In the process they also spotted a number of minor issues with the suspension, ball joint cover holed, slightly play in a rear track rod, that sort of thing. So they will ensure a car is spot on.

I haven't enquired about any modifications, not sure about that. They do seem very knowledgeable about the cars, e.g. apparently the 570GT has a wider spread rear track rod and is more stable than the S, while the 600LT has some 720S suspension parts, so the different Sports Series are more divergent than they might appear.

So they might be worth talking to and may be able to express an opinion, or some ideas on what would or wouldn't work. But I'm not aware of them offering 'suspension upgrades' per se.

I suspect that most people who want a lower/stiffer 570S will buy a 600LT rather than trying to modify the former, and I imagine that's the sensible approach tbh.

Agreed. Not really interested in modding the car, more checking it’s all correct. They are designed by someone of the best automotive engineerssmile

String Theory in Stratford Upon Avon.

Superb work on McLaren and a Mercedes.

Have you experienced the 570S before and after their suspension work?
