Going to be asking a few questions.

I've found a car I quite like, but it's got buckets and they are not going to work for me.

Would changing the seats from P1 buckets to boggo standard seats be a crazy thing to do?

And if not, what would be the likely cost and any impact on resale?

Keep them for when you sell?

Not completely crazy no, seats are a very personal thing especially if you've had a pie or two more than recommended...

I'd definitely keep them for resale time though as P1 seats are desirable items.

IIRC, the swap isn't DIY btw, you'll get an airbag fault that will need to be coded out by someone with the right equipment.

I wasn't sure if the electrical connections would be there, even the manual seat has electric up and down.

P1's are the most comfortable seat they do, if youve not given them a chance, i would first.

I am too wide for them and so they would be massively uncomfortable very quickly.

If I could shave some bone off, I am sure they would be fine.

Seats are pretty much interchangeable, however if you have the sports or the Carbon sports seats there will be the usual loom to plug the electrics in.

Personally i don’t think it would make much difference price wise,.

P1’s and the Senna seats won’t suit everyone

Its worth considering selling them on in the case, you would probably be putting a few quid in your pocket once youve bought some comfort seats 2nd hand, usually a few pairs on ebay.

The only diminished value would be if your removing them from a track pack car, in that case keep hold of them and return to P1's come sale time.

I couldn’t find any, but may have not looked hard enough

And as it turned out looks like I’ve find a nice spider with everything just now I want it.
