Just wondering if any owners done a wheel alignment for their McLarens.

And how the outcome was. Was it a improvement and did it changed the cars road grip, steering etc?

Not currently an owner presently but fairly sure geometry is something that McLaren's are very sensitive to.

I've read comments on here saying the car is transformed once the geometry is setup correctly.

Thorney have covered it in one of their numerous videos.

I had it done :

One specialist, it made absolutely no difference that I could tell.

A couple of years later, had it done at a different specialist (V Engineering) and the car was transformed. Turn in felt so much faster and much more positive.
Had it done again recently - after needing new suspension - and again, the car was transformed.

It makes a big difference.

Many thanks. Booked a specialist with Hunter tools that will do the job in about 3 weeks time. They are know for setting up cars for racetracks so my McLaren should be no problem.

Gentlemen never discuss price or money, but one exception is price on service jobs. 😎

So, what did you pay for this service?

V-Engineering recently adjusted the geo for fast road set up on my 675LT and it transformed the handling. Even more keyed into the road and front end turn-in is pin sharp. V-Engineering have Hunter equivalent suspension geo kit and clearly, have a lot of experience with all the McLaren models. Given the surface condition of UK roads, its something that I'll get checked/adjusted each year.
