Surprised not much chat on here about the W1, saw it at Goodwood yesterday and intrigued to hear what people think of it after seeing it in the flesh for the first time?

I prefer the looks of the P1 but there’s no doubting it’s an amazing car. The stand wasn’t as busy as I expected for most of the day.

When do the journalists get their hands on it ?

Looking forward to seeing how it compares to the F80 !

A few posts about it in the Goodwood thread.

It's a lot better looking in person. The launch pictures did it no favours. Its aggressive without looking like its crashed into a Halfords so I hope this is the future direction of McLaren design.

Agreed, to be fair I think they had such a tough act to follow up on the P1 as it’s just so iconic and timeless.

Yes, I think it s better in person too, i think it s going to be quite spec sensitive so intrigued to see what the 399 owners of them choose.

Same for me. I'm sure it will be a great drive but in looks the P1 has it for me

Agree with looking better in person. Suffered by being between a P1 and an F1

Very impressive to my eyes and the best looking of the new holy trinity

The only one worth reading will be Chris Harris, and I look forward to his comments.

W1 will be benchmarked / copied / imitated by the competition - as with previous milestone products from McLaren

I think the F80 looks terrible. £3.1M! W1 for me if my numbers came in.
