McWarranty Transfer

I've seen a couple of trade adverts recently saying the car has the balance of a McLaren Warranty.

It was my understanding that a trade sale makes the balance of the McWarranty void. Has this changed?

also there are some odd sellers out there - this one has steadily dropped in price over the last 3 months but they aren't making much of an effort in the advert.

Almost certainly SOR as private individuals can do a transfer but not trade. Or a fudge somehow using the previous owner.
