Fine Mesh Grills

Just watched and enjoyed a video on You Tube by a chap "Supa Car Baldy "
He showed the front intakes on the apron on his 570 fitted with fine mesh grills to prevent ingress of stones/debris .
Are these a part available from McLaren or is a one off bespoke job ?
Anyone know ?

No idea if there are official parts but I remember doing this to one of my cars years ago (think it was a 996 turbo). I think I bought black mesh from Halfords for almost nothing.

My only concern would be impeding cooling ... Porsche would not approve them as a retro-fit though many of the GT cars did have them factory fitted ...

I would second that concern,
if you look at the % of the opening obstructed by the mesh, it can easily be 30% (as in a 1.2mm wire with 4mm aperture)
