I took the 570GT out about 90 mins each way on Sunday when it was hot (c. 30C), and the A/C was well capable of maintaining the cabin at a comfortable temperature.
I'm not sure it's super-duper cold where you see condensation in front of the vents, but it's ample. It also cooled my phone after it overheated when left in the sun.
If your isn't, it's probably low on coolant. Mine leaked at a joint going into the A/C rad in front of the rear wheel on one side.

Just a quick question given the hot weather. Should the air con in these cars (570 in particular) blow freezing or just cool/chilled?
I remember my old TVR was more a puff of coolish air rather than anything more akin to modern cars, is it the same with Mclaren?
Mine blows quite cold, when there's refrigerant in it that is... currently leaking a tad, so blowing mildly cool.I remember my old TVR was more a puff of coolish air rather than anything more akin to modern cars, is it the same with Mclaren?
Mine is cool rather than freezing. On a drive on Tuesday in 30 degrees it was able to keep the cabin cool with the roof up, but I had it on max the whole time. It definitely doesn't blow as cool as other cars I've had. That said it's in for a service on Tuesday and I have asked for a recharge, so will report back if i get an improvement.
