Climate Control Fault message - 720s

Hi. First post on this forum after a year's ownership.
I've got a Climate Control Fault message showing. Along with it I have no control of the heater or air con other than fan speed - the 'buttons' are greyed out on the display.
Anyone have any experience with the same issue and know what the cause and the fix is? An online search led me down a rabbit hole to replacement of the entire heater/air con HVAC unit, which is a big job. I'm hoping it doesn't come to that.

You could try initialising it.
Keep the central knob/button pressed until the screen states “initialising” . Keep it pressed for approximately 30 seconds. The screen will turn off during the 30 seconds, but keep the button pressed until you see initialising .
