On my Leaf.. and it's free. I knew this anyway, but actually getting something these days for free is quite a novelty.

So which cars get free road tax at the moment? is it only the EV's and plug in hybrids?

MAN MATHS: The real cost of free road tax is having to drive a Nissan Leaf!

I won't be afraid to admit it, but this is one of the best cars we've ever owned. I drive it daily into the city, and you just can't beat it for what it is.

Very well thanks! Still loving it, still get a thrill from driving it, still enjoying the weird sensation when you first get in & pull away silently, still feeling smug as I drive past another petrol station. Just 2 weeks to go for you, yes?

I wonder how long the cheap / free road tax will last?

The government must be losing loads as people (and companies) buy cars under with the tax under the 120 carbon level, and the revenue is still being spent wink

Funny you should say this, yesterday I drove thro Grimsby and noticed thousands and I do mean thousands of car waiting for delivery. They were all the 1liter Euro box that have no road tax.

All three of my V8s qualify - although I only have one on the road at present.
