ChargeNow ???

Had a phone call from chargemaster today telling that there was only 1 month left on the chargemaster card scheme, so I would be better off registering with ChargeNow @ www.chargenow.com. When I navigate to this site it is only in German... if you click the international link at the bottom of the page then it take you to an english page with Coming soon on it. When I try to submit my email address for more info it just bounces an error.

Anyone had any joy with this as it less than 2 weeks until I get the car and I will need to use this network. Bit miffed as I was told I would get a card when i had the polar charger installed??

Looked at the live map and the site charge point in Taunton is a Toyota dealership? Wonder what would happen if I turned up there for a 3 hour charge?

No probs, I was pointed to that card by Chargemaster too. I applied about a week ago and it arrived in the post pretty quickly.

Got to admit I'm confused about exactly what this card covers. My tactics have just been to get as many as the charging cards as I can find and hopefully one of them will work. Pretty chaotic.

Looking at the chargenow site at my local area, only ASDA have charge points. I assume all the supermarkets will be installing charge points soon otherwise EV owners will be switching their shopping to ASDA.

It's confusing though because, as far as I can tell, there is no map which shows ALL charging points in the UK so it's easy to miss some of them.

I have a ChargeNow card but it comes up as Card Invalid everywhere I have tried it.

Chargemaster say the card is activated but there may be a problem with the enablement of the scheme across the network.

Has anyone successfully used their ChargeNow card?
