I won a Dutch (I think) electric scooter called a Tech Flex Eco-Flash 2000 in a raffle.

Presently I'm living in Germany but will move back to the UK shortly and I would like to bring it home with me. Anyone know what's required to register it in the Uk? Scooter will be 3 years old and has a Km speedo, saying that it only has a 45km top speed with a range of about 25/30 miles.

Depends. It will be classed the same as a 50cc scooter.

If it has European Type Approval, which it may or may not as in some eu country's the laws for low powers scooters are different to the UK, it will be a matter of registering it with the DVLA, paying the £50ish (iirc) charge, buying a number plate and VED (£17) and off you go, as long as you have the right licence to ride it.

If not you will need to put it through the Motorcycle SVA. This is much easier than the car SVA and basically checks the bike is not spewing out smoke or got a big spike on the front. It's pretty much an MOT but tests a few more bits. Then your good to go, with plates and the correct licence. However, it will not pass this with a KM only speedo. You will need to get that changed, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I'm assuming it's a permanent import that you want to register in the UK.

If you need more info bike banter should be able to help more.
