Full size car, decent range, cheaper than comparative ICE cars of the year & mileage, I'd have thought?

Wasn't sure about the earliest cars like this one - hadn't seen it referenced in the write-ups I read?

No, I think you're right, I think all iterations were battery lease. Hence the residual value, then.

Yep, it's the battery lease that's killing these. Along with the fact they can't rapid charge - 16A is as much as you're going to get.

They aren't meant to be very good but for the price I'd happily tool about in one if they didn't have a battery lease - lots of spec on that model too.

The battery lease kills the proposition really. I think it's £100 pm minimum for a low annual mileage.
