Npower have a new fixed rate to March 17 with on my quote electricity at 11.2p a unit I was paying 13.4p, before I renew is anyone on a better tariff?

Interestingly in the year since we have had 2 cars the electricity increase is hardly noticeable, granted we are not heavy chargers but its nice to know.

I switched to British Gas Collective Fix Feb 2017 and am paying about 9p incl VAT per unit (18p per day standing charge). Having signed up to MoneySavingEXpert Cheap Energy club you get notifications when these offers are available.

Yes. Check out Cheap Energy Club. Generally finds best tariffs and you usually get money for switching. I think my Eon fix is under 10p per kw/h for electricity and about 3p per kw/h for gas. Easily cheaper than last year's Eon fix.

I joined the CE club and the Npower deal is second lowest so looks like I missed the very cheap boat.

GB Electric - about 10p - not fixed but all they've done since I joined is lower it.

We have an annex with its own supply where my mother lives. As I pay the utility bills I've switched her over to economy7 and have the chargers fed from there with the cars on overnight charge at 5p a unit. Still costing roughly £50 a month for two Leafs charging 5 days a week from roughly 40% to full.
