Thought it only happened in Monopoly but it turns out that Renault finance did not send me an annual statement which they should have done, this meant I got a cheque for the interest paid on the first year's rentals.

I had not noticed they had not sent a statement so a welcome bonus and reduces the cost over term by another few %

Same here from Nissan (Leaf) finance. Can't say I noticed the missing / delayed statement.
