Thanks for posting that.

Like that a lot. I think I'll go with 'non-functional decorative' rather than 'fake' for the grille smile I prefer it to the front of the newer Tesla that's for sure. Nothing wrong with retaining the 'family image' like that I don't think.

Same pop-out door handles as the new RR Velar

What a stunning car - 300+ mile range!

Car's like this are going to change the automotive sector forever. If cars like the i-pace have a full order book, the pendulum will swing and we'll all be driving EV's in next to no time.

Looks good. The price will be interesting. If they can make something like that for £50K it will sell well.

The real world range will be nearer 200 (the 300 is the Euro standard test I think). And I expect the price will be £60k. I was really surprised that they have only had 350 deposits paid - but I am waiting to find out more about it before I make any commitment

It's got a 90kWh battery. Not sure how much of that you can use. My i3 is averaging 4.5 miles / kWh .. so that would give it a range of 400+ miles. Tesla's tend to be lower, 3.5 miles/kWh , so that's still 300+. Will be interesting to see.

I'd love one .. but also waiting to find out more. JLR need to speak with Elon and get access to the supercharger network, I'd be a lot more convinced then!

Not sure why they'd bother - most of the European OEMs (JLR included) and infrastructure providers are involved in the CharIn consortium, which is working to get 350kW charging rolled out across Europe. It'll use the CCS Combo2 standard, so no buggering around with proprietary Tesla interfaces.

I'm not holding my breath on anything the Euro OEM's are doing .. all PR and no action. You think Tesla is going to rest on its laurels? Musk is talking about 500kW+ most likely with their automated charging
