It’s taken 9 years and the latest round of hype is about to start again

1st October and lots of speculation that it’s going to fly. Contrast changes on the latest image show it saying “where we’re going”… being the line doc brown says at the end of back to the future.

Will be interesting at least!

At this point I’ll believe it when I see one actually driving down the road. The numbers have always sounded impressive, but the wait has been something else.

I'm not even sure the numbers sound that impressive anymore. I mean no one is going to call it slow, but it no longer sounds otherworldly.

That’s the thing with Musk - he’s the first to announce things and then push his engineers to deliver, but he’s reliant on Moores Law and whatever the equivalents are in battery tech to catch up to make it actually deliverable. Just because he announces it first doesn’t mean they deliver first or are the only ones.
