Are we at the point where any company in the uk can help replace the battery at a reasonable cost?

There already are companies which will replace cells if you have a bad one, but really after 15 years or however long the batteries last I doubt the car will be worth much and it's likely they will just use cells from a written off car (etc) and do a swap.

It's likely going to be similar now to repairing an engine in an old shed of a car. Back street garages will adapt.
