PHEV choice - Audi Q5 vs Pug 3008 vs ???
Discussion
Hi all,
I currently have a Merc C350e Estate as a company car. That's going back at the end of March, and I'll have to move to an allowance instead of a company car.
The vast majority of my driving is short journeys, so a PHEV makes huge sense for me as even with the crap battery range of the Merc, I'll often go days without using any petrol. I therefore want to get another PHEV.
Looking around at the moment, the best options (for a family of five + dog) look like either the Audi Q5 or the new Pug 3008. Does anyone have any experience of either in the real world? Is there anything else that people would suggest looking at?
I have also considered the BMW X3 and Volvo V60, but they both seem to come out quite a bit more expensive on monthly cost.

Not ready to take the plunge into full EV yet?
What kind of monthly cost are you looking at for the 2 cars mentioned?
They're coming in with 10k mile contracts for 4 years at around £400-500 per month depending on engine choice. I did look at the Jaguar i-Pace, Audi e-Tron and Mercedes EQC, but they're all £700+, and I couldn't see anything else out there that would be big enough.

Petrol makes some difference, of course, but nowhere near that much!
