This is pretty interesting IMO.... $75k though! so probably not actually worth the hassle.
But, they fit a motor into the space where the flywheel would have been and the whole system doesn't need to be integrated into the vehicles own ECU. The ECU supposedly has no idea the hybrid system is there and the hybrid system just looks after itself.
1 kWh battery, + 150 HP/150 lb-ft motor
Capable of regen as well, and an overboost function for launches. Its even got a method to charge the battery externally, though I can't think why you'd want or need to do that all that often.
