Porsche Taycan 4S lease prices - not for the feint of heart

Mods, apologies I did look for a thread.

Wow, got a quote on a 4S 93 KWh - P11D value of just over 83k

Yes, I have specc'd some options, but the lease comes back (for 10k miles per annum and 36 months - which must be 'fairly standard') at over £2.3k, per month!

So in the course of the 3 years, bar about £12k, I'd have fully paid off the vehicle.

I mean, is it just me, or is that nuts?

I was expecting a) a far higher residual, b) more like £1-1.5 per month.

Even my board would be slightly agog at that.

No tax personally, (bonus) but since the range is not suitable for the longer journeys I do for work, then I'd be forever taking my wife's car, or buying another on top.

Seems a poor effort, or am I that out of touch in embracing the 'future'?

You're looking at £1300 a month all in before options, so if you added £10k of extras and had to pay in full over the lease term around £1600 a month.



£2300 gets you a well optioned Turbo S (£2k per month before options all in and obviously a better standard spec than the 4S)
