Mercedes A250e - any owners?
Discussion
Afternoon all - We are looking at replacing our 3 year old i3 with something newer.
Have only just became aware of the A250e - i know it's not pure electric, and i know a hybrid is the worst of both worlds usually but this seems interesting.
We had planned to just get another e-niro (really impressed with our other one) but the merc looks different whilst still being completely normal ..
What kind of MPG and range (44miles claimed) are you getting? any oddities ?
I've watched a few reviews and they're all saying the ride is quite poor - if this is the general consensus then we won't even bother going for a test drive.

was thinking of leasing it and lease prices come in a fair bit cheaper for the Merc - if we can keep it below £300 a month that would be a right result
Certainly do seem to be some deals around on these assuming you don't mind a long commitment and limited mileage. Take into account you will be expected to have the car serviced every 12 months which will add up over the term as well as the fuel cost for trips further than 40 miles without charging though.

I testdrove one before I ordered a 330e. I loved the tech, but it was a touch small for me. The 1.3 engine was a gruff little thing aswell, the unrefined aspect and the fact I could only claim 10p per mile vs 12p on the 330e made it an easy choice.
If you enjoy a hoon then the BMW still has a bit of soul. The merc has lot of twinkly bits but it’s not fun.
It’s comparable to the smaller BMW 1/2 series hybrids.
