Do we think Rishi Sunak is going to go make any significant changes to EV grants or BIK rates in today's announcements?

I'm in the process of ordering a Model 3 LR via the company car scheme which will cost me £17 in BIK per month this year and £34 next year. 2023 and 2024 are unknown at present

Also, if the EV grant that is available on purchase is withdrawn or substantially lowered, there's a good chance that the EV's will disappear from the CoCar list altogether

I think he already announced in 2020 that the rates would for up to 2024/2025 will be the same as 2022/2023 .

It's possible he will do away with the grant and just remove VAT like Norway.

I think the greener the product (any) the lower the VAT rate would be which would cause companies to actually take being green seriously.
