Ionic 5 project 45 orders
Discussion
We have an E-golf on contract hire and it goes back September so took a punt on the Project 45 and just had email confirmation that I can reserve one. From what I can find out there are maybe around 300 RHD cars coming to Uk. Not 100% sure though.
Looking at all the EV cars currently available and what might be coming along this seems as good as anything out there if not better for the price.
Now waiting for the link to pay the deposit.
Any one else?

Not me but it is a good looking car.
I guess it can use this?

As same company?

Have not seen that, I like it a lot.
Our company car scheme (which I'm currently opted out of - and driving a shed) has just had a major overhaul to include a whole range of EV's, from the usual I3's and TM3's to more interesting stuff like ID3, e-NIRO and Polestar.
Obviously this is too new for that, but I must say, my finger is itching to opt back in and press the button!!! Fingers crossed, this may appear soon.
Sliding centre console...... if it ever became steer-by-wire, that could be handy for continental travel, transfer the steering wheel over whilst going through the tunnel lol!!!!
Edited to add: I think I know why I like it, there is something Alfa GT / 159 about the front end....

I want one of these but local dealer is clueless and appear to have been unsuccessful in reserving one via their website - had no contact despite registering interest etc. Looking at all the EV cars currently available and what might be coming along this seems as good as anything out there if not better for the price.

The project 45 is £48000, netting down to £45000 after the £3k grant is taken off. The idea behind this car for me is that it more or less comes with most of the available options. I like the solar roof, AWD, larger battery and range. Also it’s available this summer (maybe/hopefully) prior to the release of the standard car. What’s the price etc?
I don’t think this is released to the dealers but sold directly from Hyundai through the dealer network, they have asked me to choose my preferred dealer for collection. I think the standard cars are a lot cheaper especially the 2wd versions.
As for the dealers themselves I think your right....not a clue.
