It took me just under 20 minutes to fill the tank on my partners Polo, that's from joining the queue to driving off with a full tank...
... how long does it take to charge your car from reserve to fully charged?
The vast majority of charging at home because a) it’s cheap and b) it’s easy. My car would take about 8 or 9 hours to go from empty to full whilst parked here, but because it would be sat doing nothing anyway, it’s kind of irrelevant how long it takes. It essentially takes no time at all.... how long does it take to charge your car from reserve to fully charged?
There’s also a very reliable supply of electricity… this isn’t the ‘70s. You can’t just turn the power off anymore as total chaos would ensue due to basically everything relying on computers.
yes, I would say enjoy it. While it lasts....
Gas prices have gone through the roof.
Currenty 35% of our electricity is being generated from gas.
Fires in overseas cables can (have) had a significant impact on importing of electricity.
I am not convinced that electricity is that much more secure other fuels.
It makes me wonder how the grid would react if everyone with a car panic charged them due to some stupid newspaper headlines.....
