As above really. A customer just asked me if Tesla gave him a full charge when he bought the car but I had no idea, or what other manufacturers do.

My 330e came with a full charge. When I take it for a service to Williams bmw in trafford park it also gets handed back fully charged.
Whilst a small thing it leaves a positive impression and will recommend them to others. Not bad for £2 of electricity.

My previous Leaf 40 was on 98% when I collected it from the dealer with 4 miles on the clock. Quite hilariously predicting 183 miles of range, more like 130ish on average from our experience over 2 years!

Just read on a Facebook group someone's DS3 was delivered on the back of a truck with 3 miles of range in it!

Our iPace arrived with a full battery - as have friends EV's, or at least I assume they all did as they all came round shortly after delivery to show off smile

Must be a sensible requirement for any BEV to delivered with charge surely - the will be the odd customer who can't charge at home and we need to reach a charger some distance away. They'd be screwed if it turned up at 1%..

eGolf was half full although the dealer had at least 6 others going out of the door that day so I guess rationed charger time for each.

Not sure why I remember such things, but....

i3 : Fully charged
Golf : Fully charged
Tesla : About 50% SoC
e-up : Fully charged

I seem to recall reading someone saying that Tesla give free supercharging on the day that you get the car but I never checked this. I'd be surprised if they were that organised.

Renault ZOE arrives at the dealer from the import centre fully charge ( most of the time), we always make sure they are fully charged before handover.

Collections from dealerships always 100%.

Onto do driven delivery but the driver is told that they must deliver it with at least 60%

Fully charged - anything less is cutting corners. The very least they can do is charge the damn thing!

Same goes for an ICE car too - it better be full when I pick it up! Given the availability and cost, its a small thing.

Picked up my 2016 Audi A3 e-tron PHEV from an independent car dealer with a full charge on the battery, but an empty fuel tank lol

When I went to view it for a test drive, it had 3/8 bars on the battery, so I could properly test the electric drive out. I also went to view a BMW 330e at a different dealer and that had an empty battery, so the car was essentially acting like a normal petrol car, which meant I couldn't test the EV functionality of it, which I thought was a bit sloppy/lazy of the dealer. One of the reasons why I went for the A3 instead.

My Kia came fully charged. I saw it in Morrisons on the back of the transporter on charge before they delivered it to me 😆

Part of BMW Group working standards is all EV / PHEV cars are delivered fully charged new and after they have been in to service.

Wow, the dealers I’ve used definitely don’t adhere to this for service!
