Didn't realise that there was such a thing until I walked past my local Co-op Funeral Directors this morning.

That's quite a conversion. Your final journey shall be a silent one.

Not the best photos, I was trying to be discreet.

Seems logical for a vehicle that covers few miles a day, and spends most of its time waiting or moving slowly. And that's before you consider that it is quiet, and ticks a green box.
I'd be happy to go in one, although hopefully not yet!

The conversion doesn't spoil the looks either!

i cant think of anything worse for my final journey.

I want a V8 Jag hearse and for them to be told i want my last journey to be full speed not a 10mph crawl.

Somehow it reminds me of an angry cat with the narrowed 'eyes' and long sloping 'forehead'. Maybe that's just me. I think the Lee Van Cleef squint look is overused in the headlight design of modern cars

A petrolheads' vehicle of choice for their last journey or something perhaps your long suffering surviving wife would book for you if she was not happy about your petrolhead hobbies biggrin

That said looks pretty good and less awkard than an extended estate car.

Waiting for someone to say "I wouldn't be seen dead in an electric vehicle".

Looks surprisingly good. Not sure an MG5 equivalent would convert quite so successfully!

.

Renting one and driving it into a bridge at 140 MPH will achieve the objectivesmile

I couldn't give a toss about what my final journey is in, I will be dead. What ever costs me and my family the least. When I die the next thing that will happen will be my family picking up my ashes. No churches or crematorium service, just ash scattering and a happy get together.

Recommended only if you’d already left instructions for a cremation.

I think I prefer that to the one in the OP. I see the purpose of a Leaf hearse, especially for the funeral of an eco person. But let it be said if I die and my family arrange a Leaf hearse I will haunt them!

That company also does a Hummer hearse, quite the other side of the spectrum, but I'd also be haunting my family if my final journey was in that.

Yes, it's quite a tidy conversion actually, it could have looked a lot worse. It was outside the premises on St John's Road when I pictured it this morning.

Makes a change from their usual XJs and Mondeos.
