Well It's finally here! Well worth the wait.

And if anyone can tell me how post a pic so it doesn't look like it's been driven up a wall I'll post a pic.

Click the upload an image sentence on the banner above where you type your message. Then post it in the pinned thread.....probably a few images down from my C40.

Enjoy the car, we are

Hurrah!

We’re pretty much 2 years in now. Very very happy with ours. Which model did you go for? And is it one of the updated versions?

Went for the twin motor ultimate, every time I try and post an image it's flipping it 90 degrees!

Very impressed with it so far, had a really good service so far from both dealership and Volvo UK who were able to sort out my rather unique insurance requirements!

Congrats on the car.
Here is one way to fix the annoying orientation issue if you’re using an iPhone: edit the image, rotate 90deg and save. Then edit again, rotate back to normal and save, then upload. There may be a better way but this works for me.

Here's a question for all you XC40 electric owners...

When do you think your first service should be?
a. 10,000 miles
b. 20,000 miles
c. When it tells you
d. After 2 years ownership

I have been told after 2 years regardless of anything else, and that was by Volvo.

So... If you've done 80k miles, it's still not due until the two years is up?

Bit odd

20000 miles, or 24 months, whichever comes first.

This was a direct response from Polestar online chat; I would think the XC40 would be very similar, which ties in with the poster above.

"The regular service intervals for a Polestar 2 is either 18,750 miles or two years of ownership."

Mine's currently saying 18000 or 2 years.

It's going to be brake fluid, change the pollen filters, maybe rotate the tyres and a general check.

Brake fluid(unless you are lapping the Nordschleife) needs changing on a time basis as it is hygroscopic, so 2 years 24,000 miles sounds reasonable.

Was the pic modified or cropped?
That can make it flip!
