I was about to post about the lack of chargers, but to be fair there seems to be a new 50kw in Ventnor where we normally holiday. If you live there how do you find it?

I think if a handful of people buy EV’s on the island, then their supply from the DNO might fall over, it’s fairly notorious in its limited capacity…smile

I think I remember reading they’re struggling with adding solar PV capacity because of that limited grid link - adding some EVs to charge would help I suppose… when it’s sunny.

Ventnor/Sandowwn are at the top of the sunniest UK locations.

We are very blessed on the South coast Central and East with very sunny climates. Not today though!
