Battery warranties

Thinking about a used BEV purchase

In terms of battery warranties across different brands: is there a requirement for service history (to maintain the warranty) and if so, does this have to be done by a main dealer?

Not aware of any special requirements for the main drive battery. Also, not sure why there would be as I’m pretty sure the battery is not included in the standard service for an i3.

I think Peugeot have a battery inspection every other year but that’s probably nothing more than income generation.
