My Leaf timers have stopped working with these error messages, synchronising doesn't work:

Any ideas anyone? I've checked the 12V battery OK and disconnected/reconnected it. The GPS clock is working though an hour behind. The charge timer clock is working as it is counting up from Sun 12 AM reset by the 12V battery disconnection.

So the car can't be preheated in the morning and charges immediately it is plugged in. Fortunately it does appear to be to 100%.

Doesn't work for me, same errors. If I offset the times to agree to then nearest minute still says they are different. I guess it wants them synchronized to the nearest second. My car is an early 2011 model year.

Took the car to Nissan who wanted £162 to investigate at my risk. So obviously I didn't want to pay that and be told they can't fix it. So hopefully some one else out there can find a fix and published it for the benefit of all humanity..

So that's the end of pre heating and 80% charging for the moment.

A few posts from 4th Aug here with some different ideas

Its a Europe wide data service issue, don't pay your dealer for it.

I'm slightly concerned this may become an issue as other EVs pass the 10 year mark and manufacturers don't prioritise keeping online services going.

Is the 12v battery definitely good?

FWIW, if you want the remote control of the Leaf can recommend the OVMS box which enables charging and pre heating through the app…

Still no progress on this frown

Today I cycled the 12V battery connection to reset the charge timer clock. This defaults to Sunday 0:00 AM so I now have the date correct, and can offset the GPS clock to get the hours and minutes correct to. I no longer get the sync error message but the timer still doesn't set. If I set up the values, reply "yes" to "Do you want to set timer 1 as shown below" it confirms with "settings have been activated" but then displays "the timer has not been set".
