"It's extremely dangerous to public health; totally inappropriate for a small urban location surrounded by small businesses and housing.
"It will create more vehicle emissions in such a small space. All of these people are going to suffer the poison of increased vehicle emissions in a confined urban space."
WTF?
And had to laugh at this one –
"There will be noise, not just from cars but from drivers slamming doors"

Location surrounded by small businesses that are good for public health, like Morrison's gas station...: https://maps.app.goo.gl/JnuPgrWFtLb1vbrk7 (if I'm not mistaken).Surprisingly, none of the four restaurants (zooming in, two of them seem to explicitly offer take-out) within walking distance thought of sending a letter of support.
Turning the "ad hoc parking" where old cars leak oil for weeks into something that would bring in a new potential customer every 10-30 minutes should be a no-brainer.

Don't councils just ignore this sort of NIMBY BS? Those objections were mostly by people who would complain about just about anything. The comments just highlight how stupid most of these people are.
Welcome to the planning process, 29 objections is a lot. While most are BS, they are all considered. While the access is not impossible, the rules around visibility and access are very well defined.
