Saw some Lucid EV station wagons in last few days

That particular colour is a bit challenging
But look at the shape objectively, and forget what 'a car' looks like, because cars are changing now they no longer need to package an engine above the axle.
What we actually see is wheels pushed as far into each corner as crash protection regs allow, a short stubby bonnet and the driver and passenger seat also pushed towards the front of the car. This is not 'bad' stuff, even though it does change the form of the car. My 6 year old iPace was a broadly similar shape for the same reasons.
Then at the back, it's squared off which is good for rear interior space and the lack of central driveshaft and the rear axle being close to the rear bumper is great for packaging.
It's not bad, it's just not the same shape we used to produce in school when handed a crayon and asked draw 'a car'.

I think that's fair actually.

I looked at it and forced myself to keep looking and it doesn't look that bad.
It doesn't look amazing but I think a lot of EVs seem a bit generic these days.

That's the Gravity. It will be launching in the UK at some point too. Apparently, it drives and charges very well indeed.
Parking it in UK could be interesting - it looks huge. Just looked it up and it's very similar length and width as Kia EV9 - I suppose that's pretty big though. It reminds me of first generation Buick Enclave.

Bit of a bugger for those in the adjoining spaces... Although I think I'm the UK we actually need some new rules about parking space sizes. As a country we appear to have completely ignored the fact cars are consistently getting bigger, despite enforcing the legislation that in no small part has forced them to grow.

For those who are already used to living with and parking something like a Range Rover/XC90 segment type SUV, it won't be an issue. It reminds me of first generation Buick Enclave.
How do so many Transit vans and supermarket delivery trucks manage to park on UK roads, when they are much bigger than these SUVs?

Bad angle/ colour.
Its more of an estate car (whisper it minivan) but drives really well according to reviews and is really practical. Id have one assuming they fix the niggles and it was cheaper

I think that looks good. Certainly better than anything coming from BMW at the moment and probably on par with their rivals. Its more of an estate car (whisper it minivan) but drives really well according to reviews and is really practical.
