I currently own my car outright and it's touch-wood reliable and cheap as chips to run.

But we all get that itch occasionally and I'm starting to get it every so often.

Always fancied an EV but couldn't seem to make the numbers work.

I just had a look on the Tesla website and on personal hire a brand new "base" 3 looks to be three grand down and £250/month.

I'm assuming I'm missing something as £10/day seems very reasonable but I can't see an obvious catch as I seem to be able to get as far as just needing a fingerprint to put down the £200 order confirmation with Apple Pay.

Am I missing something?
